Several three-week assignments. Technical training on large marine engines. Support for French and Italian technicians. Interpreting and documentation

SWISS RAILWAY: An assignment of several months

including German, French and Italian in the respective Maintenance Headquarters. Here, too, I worked with technicians and engineers. This included both on-the-job interpreting and translation of maintenance manuals, parts lists etc.

SPORTS CAR BUILDER, Germany – Technical, Factory Visit & Driving Dynamics

Technical explanations at the Museum of that manufacturer, factory visits and communication of technical content between engineers, factory personnel, and international customer groups. Support with driving dynamics modules.

TORPEDO MANUFACTURER, Italy – Maintenance and Operating Manual (over 1,000 pages)

Translation and editing of extensive technical documentation for a maritime weapon system. Terminology work, structuring, and coordination with Italian engineers.

HOUSEHOLD ELECTRONICS and MEDICAL EQUIPMENT MANUFACTURER in the Netherlands – Patents

Over a year of work on patents for the (only) manufacturer of household appliances, medical diagnostics, and audio/video equipment in the Netherlands, through an Italian outsourcer.

SHIPBUILDER IN KIEL, Germany (Submarines)

Contributing to the creation of documentation and training German and international teams on a system for the safe positioning of vessels during construction (load balancing).
